| I think that zfh server should really use a votemute (that normal players can vote) cause there was a mic spammer and only 1 admin was online (as far as i know) but he was afk. so we couldn't do a thing. i know that you can mute players in main menu but i think it would be easier to everyone else. btw the mic spammers name was : Kaladze.exe he had few letters with caps lock in his name (like : KaLaDzE.exe) so i dont have the real name.

| I will consider adding this to the server, but usually these votes don't work so well. How many votes would it take to mute someone? RTV only needs 50% of the votes, but with 40 people in the server that's still 20 votes needed. You also can't make it too low or people will mute others just for fun. Any ideas?

| hmm.. don't know but i still think that if ppl are too annoying then they will vote yes for the mute... maybe if you lower the vote about 4-5 ppl lower then.. but i don't know

| Yes, this is kinda sad when there are other language people talking in microphone, mostly Russians are persons who thinks they can do everything, usually when im only member on server at evening/night time there is always russians yelling at mic. And if you say "English only on microphone" they just dont care, they keep talking. And the normal mute doesnt work cause they keep rejoining to game so the mute passes away, they need permanent mute!

| Oh, dont blame everything on the russians. Ive heard you, Threat, talking other than english on mic too, several times. The thing with russians is that theyre probably really bad at english, and doesn't understand what we're saying. I know that's not an real excuse, but I think that people that actually DO understand english should follow the rules and not continue their stuff. Sorry for being off topic! On topic: Yes, I believe that it could be an option, having votemute. But, as Joe said, there's a BIG risk that ppl will abuse it and just mute for fun.

| As i said, i dont blame all, i said most ruskis. By the way why it's only rule for microphone, if you look up chat there is too non-english talking. And yes i am talked my country language. In my option atleast swedishes can understand the rule if you say them that only english in mic. If cant speak english then dont speak imo. I think there is simply no way to stop others speaking other languages than english cause i got other work too than muting people whole day if i could.

| I think the system we've got now is good, english on microphone and, if you'd like, other languages on the chat. It should be win for everybody because english is an universal language, and most people understand/speak it. Sure there are many people that speak russian, french, spanish or so, but that doesnt mean that the server only should have one of those language on mic. In fact, the language SHOULD be swedish, right? It's an swedish server, with alot of swedes on it... but the server rules, set by the owner, states that only english should be used on mic. No other languages. If you can't speak english, then dont speak at all! Use the chat to communicate with friends or foes.
I could have talked (or spammed) the mic in swedish, or in other languages if I'd liked, because I have a microphone, but I choose to be quiet and write english instead. To stop people from talking other languages might be hard, yes. But if you mute one person, others will, hopefully, understand and follow what the admin is telling them.

| It's pretty simple really, the reason we have rules for microphone use is that everyone is forced to listen to the speaker. On chat you can read what you want and ignore the rest. The rule was made a long time ago by NoExit (who is Swedish himself), so you can consider it an unbiased rule. Threat: You need to stop with the racist bullshit you continue to bring into the server - and now on these forums. There are a few regulars on the server that are Russian and speak English, and it's embarrassing having you on there being friendly with us while insulting them. Clean it up. Anyway, all of the admins have access to permanently mute a player, so if they have to be told several times to stop spamming on the mic, then that's the punishment they will get. If someone is spamming the mic and no admins are online, then you can use the personal mute feature built-in to CS:S.
